How many containers are included in this Knorr Aromat bundle?
This listing is for a 3-pack of Knorr Aromat Original Seasoning. Each individual canister contains 7.94oz (225g) of seasoning, giving you a total of nearly 24oz. This bulk pack is designed to ensure you always have a backup in the pantry for a better value per ounce.
Is this Knorr Aromat the authentic version imported from South Africa?
Yes. This specific 3-pack is the South African imported version of Knorr Aromat. While Knorr produces seasonings globally, the South African "Original" blend is highly sought after for its specific savory profile and "yellow" iconic canister that fans recognize as a household staple.
Does Knorr Aromat Original contain MSG or allergens?
Knorr Aromat Original contains monosodium glutamate (MSG), which is the key to its signature umami flavor. Please note that the recipe also includes yeast extract derived from barley, meaning this product contains gluten. It is a vegetarian-friendly seasoning but is not gluten-free.
Can I use Knorr Aromat as a replacement for table salt?
While Knorr Aromat contains salt, it is much more than a salt substitute. Because it is a "finely balanced blend of herbs and spices," it adds a savory complexity to dishes. You can use it in place of salt on eggs, popcorn, and maize meal, but we recommend tasting as you go, as the Knorr flavor profile is much richer than plain salt.
